Activities at Ardmore - No driving Required

  • Visit the “ardmore ceramic art museum” open every day

    • “African Loom Weaving”, handwoven bags & cushions from home-dyed cotton.(wholesale prices)

    • “Amangwe Crafts and Beadwork”- a community project selling locally produced crafts for 40 artists.

    • Bass Fishing & Bird watching at our large farm dam, across the road, 400m from the Guest House.

    • Jungle gym, trampoline,slide and swings for the kids. Also Table tennis,badminton and volleyball net.

    • Swimming pool – great for a refreshing dip, with lovely views of Champagne Castle mountain.

    • A 45 min stroll up to the hill above the main forest on the farm, view of the whole Champagne Valley.

    • Good mountain biking terrain, free use of our very basic mountain bikes, if serious, bring your own.

    • Tea garden - Light lunches, tea and scones and apple pie available.

    • Have a drink in the bar, play a game of darts or watch some satelite TV in the pub.

    • A steep 90min hike to the trig beacon on “Ardmore Hill”, 230m above the guest house, a stunning view.

    • Or surf the net in Ardmore's Internet and Wifi cafe !
